Remember?
I wasn’t really counting on that for 2021, but I hoped I was only being overly pessimistic. Turns out, I wasn’t wrong.
My whole marketing plan for Getting to Grace centered on presenting to Senior Centers in Preble, Darke, Shelby, Miami, Montgomery, Greene, Clark, Logan and Champaign counties. I visited those areas many times when I worked at The Alzheimer’s Association Miami Valley Chapter and consider the entire population my “peeps” even though many probably hold very different political views from my own. Oh well. Family is family.
With Covid kicking up again in a big way, I am back to my mask-wearing, social-distancing habits. However, I decided to blast through marketing resistance and take on the world of readers out there who haven’t heard of me, about me, or from me.
Hello. My name is Velma Lee Barber, writing as Lee Barber. If you can tolerate popular fiction that tends toward romance for older adults, I would like you to read my novel and tell me what you think.
Getting to Grace is available on Amazon and at the Epic in Yellow Springs.
See you in… in a Facebook post? a tweet? a blog reply? in my dreams?
🙂 Velma
