Hello Out There in ReaderLand,
Life’s been interesting, as always.
We moved twice in the past year and recently received a new roommate– my mother sold her house and moved in with us. Life feels the same, and different.
On the writing front, I sent a finished novel to my agent. Peace of Pie (working title) is my attempt at a Hallmark-style romance. I am editing novel #3, working title, The Box, The Bed, The Coffin, and The Cradle (or TBTBTCTC when I don’t want to write it out.) And I have a sequel to Getting to Grace marinating on my laptop. I’ll start re-writing that when I stop finding ways to improve TBTBTCTC.
I missed my 45th class reunion. I regret not reconnecting with my public school classmates. Hopefully we’ll all be around in 2025 for the 50th and I can visit with some of them in the next four years.
Please leave a comment so I know you’re out there. I only hear from people trying to sell me sex, CBD oil, or marketing tools. YOU are much more interesting to me than any of that.
Have you read Getting to Grace? If so, what did you like or not like about it.
What’s the best book you have read in the past two years?
Stay well and cover your cough,
Lee
Very excited to read your upcoming work! I read Getting to Grace, and the characters were so raw and real that I forgot I was reading; rather, I felt like I was living alongside Grace and Sam and sweet Loretta.
For the first time EVER, I have read 50 books so far this year, and I’m not stopping. It’s difficult to pick a favorite. I’m not going to try.
P.S. No subliminal messages to sell sex, CBD oil or marketing strategies. (:
Thanks for posting a comment! Yours is the first I’m replying to. I’m not sure how to make comments show up on the blog.
More to learn….
Hope your weekend is going well.
I want to engage in the 50 book challenge next year. Sounds exciting, engaging, strategic, brain-building.
Read on!
